Just back from my vacation in Mexico and so pleased with my pictures and they really are not that different from the pictures of a friend of mine who paid far more for his camera. I just wish that it didn't use 4 batteries but i'll buy some rechargeable ones. Definitely worth the price.

This is digital camera that comes packed with features for the price. Great all purpose camera with many features not found in the price range.<br /><br />Only part that is annoying is that to gain access to the memory card you open the same compartment where the batteries are stored.

I use the camera for work and play. Taking product pictures, then turning around taking family pictures, vacation pictures, etc. <br />Its easy to use and light.<br />The only problem I have is trying to remember what each function does.

LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! I received the camera in 4 days after purchasing it! This camera is half the price of nikon and kodak with pretty much the same features. I immediately started taking pics as soon as I got it out of the box on auto setting and the pics are great. Love the zoom. Haven't checked out the other features yet but I bet they are great. We have horses and daughter plays basketball so I'm excited to check out the continuous shooting mode and for daughter to use it in her 4H photo class. I would definately recommend this camera. Easy to use

Takes great pictures of scenery as I travel. It has good quality pictures and camera is easy to use.

I'm an amateur and it didn't take too much time in figuring the basics out. I'm sure there is much to learn with the manual settings, however the pictures taken on Auto came out very nice. I'm still playing around with it, but very satisfied. Purchase a card for it, as it does not come with one and it only holds 10 pictures without one.

Great camera.<br />Even greater because of the price.

a great camera for someone interested in more than the pocket digital.

The S1800 is a great outdoor camera . I am able to get good close up shots of scenery and animals that a standard point and shoot is not capable of.<br />My biggest concern is the indoor performance using flash. What ever you are trying to take a photo of can not be moving around. It is impossible to get a quick shot of a moving child no matter what the camera setting. Between the slow flash and slow focus the image you actualy get is about 1 to 2 seconds later. If the indoor lighting is good enough the S1800 does OK . <br />I believe that the only way to get a digital camera that captures indoor images quickly is to buy a good DSLR camera for three times the price of the S1800 . The S1800 is a very good vacation camera when you want to get decent scenery shots near or far away or for composed shots indoors. Also the video is said to be HD but in reality is realy just so so. If any one is going to buy this camera for the HD video capabilities they will be disappointed. There is no HDMI so tnere is no way to view HD video on a HD tv using this camera.

I bought this camera for my personal use for family and sporting events. My daughter does cheerleading and soccer and I like to take pictures of her. I also like to tail gate at Mississippi State Univ. and the University of Alabama for the college football games. I can not wait till football season starts again for some great on field pictures. All the pictures I have taken so far have been great and I am still finding more options on the camera that I did not know about.

My Nikon L100 was destroyed in an auto accident and I bought this as a replacement. I was a little leary because I saw some "Not So Complimentary" reviews. Those feelings disappeared quickly when I finished my initial test drive. This is a fine camera that is extremely simple to use with some fantastic features. The "Sport" feature snaps 20 images in a matter of a few seconds. All you have to do is hold the button down and they fire off automatically. I took unbelievably crystal photos with the Macro feature at a distance of about 1/2 inch. I believe this camera is an exceptional bargain for the price. I have already recommended it to several friends.

The Fuji S1800 is a fine all purpose camera with extra features that are not offered on most point and shoot cameras. Thus, it's somewhat bulkier but still small and easy to carry. My other camera is also a Fuji and I have been impressed with their products. My only complaint is that the "complete" user's manual has to be downloaded from the web. The included manual only covers the basics.

I selected the S1800 to replace an older digital camera for my engineering business. It's perfect, and I especially like the pnorama function.

Like the double A batteries, that's what my husband wanted.

I brought this camera after seeing a friends. I was blown away whe he told me the price. I was in the market for a new camera, was going for a Kodak. I have an Olympus that I'm not to crazy about. I love the closeups I get with this camera. And shots taken in low light look great. I would recommend this as a step up before you buy that Camera that cost $500.

The instruction booklet doesn't explain how to use the specialty selections on the camera. You have to figure them out for yourself.

This camera takes great pictures during the day, It has awesome zoom and its pretty easy to use for all around daily pictures and amatures. The video is not so great, I am not sure if its just me not knowing the settings or if its the camera, but they arent as crisp and sharp as i thought they would be, could be just me not knowing how to fully use the camera yet like i said. all around im happy with the camera, I would definetly recommend.

For the price there are a lot of options. It takes great pictures and is easy to use!

got this camera for my mother, who is semi-arthritic and a technophobe. The camera body and button layout are very good for someone with limited dexterity, and the camera OS is very easy to navigate. the only glaring problem i have found in my limited time with this camera is the shutter lag and blur due to the slow lens; a trade-off for the zoom i suppose.

I bought this for my 11 yo daughter who has expressed an interest in photography. It is an "SLR-Like" camera with some decent features. Notably, it has a viewfinder and of course it looks like an SLR. The fit and finish is nice and the pics are good. Fuji cut costs by using AA batteries to power it - but, they performed just as advertised (~305 shots per set). We now have lithium batteries in it and they are advertised to go for 700 shots - we'll see.<br />It takes a bit of time to take a picture...but I see it as reasonable given the cost.<br />All in all a good camera so far. Would definitely recommend it for like applications.

I have been so busy since receiving my S1800 that I haven't had time to explore all its features. However, as an older user who finds it difficult to read tiny screens and icons, I am very happy with the large, easily read displays/menus, and the inclusion of a viewfinder. The controls are intuitive, and the camera is lighter and more compact than an earlier Fuji model I've owned previously. [...] Have not found any issues or problems to date.
