This camera is for my husband who demands quality & simplicity. He has both in the Nikon S3000. Before it came, we visited my uncle who was showing off his new little camera. Yes, a Nikon S3000. <br />My husband is getting used to the camera & has installed the necessary computer software, complaining every step of the way about having to learn something new. <br />Now, a couple of weeks later, he's very happy with the new camera. BTW, my uncle is 95, my husband is 64, & still misses the old Brownie cameras.

I really like the camera the only thing missing is no HDMI out so I put pics on a jump drive and go through my blueray payer pictures are great for such a small camera.

I've only used this camera a few times but so far it is wonderful. It has a quick shutter speed and, while I haven't had the opportunity to play with all the features/settings, the ones I have used work great. It's a great camera that can either be point and shoot or set to your specifications.

I bought this as a gift for my mom for Christmas. She's ecstatic. It is simple enough that she doesn't have to work to hard just to take pictures when she wants. The pictures are not the highest quality ever, but they are adequate.

Trying to figure the settings still... Camera takes a bit long to focus and shoot in most pre-set settings. But nice and small for point and shoot camera, easy to slip in a pocket!

The camera took very nice images in auto mode as well as the various scene modes. I used it over the holidays to capture family and friends in a variety of settings from action to low light and all the image looked great! I found the large LCD to be very crisp and clear and everything about the camera was easy to use. Well thought out design.

I already have this camera so when my 23 year old daughter wanted a new camera for her birthday, I knew this would be the perfect gift for her since I have had such a good experience with my S3000. Simple to use, nice pictures, holds a charge, and small enough to fit in a pocket. Nothing fancy, just a nice little camera. My daughter loves it and so do I.

Got my wife this Cool Pix for her birthday and<br />absolutely loves it. Took it for a family reunion at Thanksgiving and was a breeze to use. Didn't matter if some shots were bad , cause after<br />uploading, we were able to make some adjustments and all our pictures were great.<br />Easy to use, great value, yes I would recommend.

My camera locked up while useing the video and the lens locked up. I tried to dislodge the lens and it broke. THe camera was 2 mo old. I sent it back to Kikon and they fixed it under warrenty. I was pleased with the service.

As a professional photographer I found this camera met my expectations for a point and shoot. The size is awesome...about that of a cell phone. The quality of the pictures and video are great. The LCD is sooo awesome being larger that lots of other cameras. The price was awesome as well. It is simple and easy enough for my mother (whom this was bought for) to use and not get overwhelmed with options and size. I would highly recommend this to anyone and when my old point and shoot dies...this will be my next purchase.

It's lightweight, compact, rechargable plug in battery, and most importantly takes a GREAT picture. I haven't had the time to use all of the unique features but I'm looking forward to the opportunity to try them out. Great Value!!!
