Does an excellent job, photo color needs little to no adjustments when used.

Does not thread onto the lens which is a pro/con. It makes it easy to use but also makes it fall off the lens fairly easily.

Very simple to use and wonderful results. Be sure to read the instructions and follow the links included for tutorials to obtain the proper balance you may be looking for (perhaps slightly warm, etc.) or for proper use on your particular brand/model of camera. Since you can hand hold this over your lens, buy the size for your largest diameter lens - then you can hand hold it on your smaller lens. I was truly amazed at the results.

I wouldn't leave home without this product. It has helped me with so many difficult lighting situations. It is always in my bag.

I set my DSLR to manual white balance, place the ExpoDisc in front of the lens (there is no thread to cross-thread), point at the light source and shoot. That's it for as long as I am shooting in the same lighting condition.

I have not had to change the white balance on the resulting shots in my post-processor. Since this is a frame at a time procedure, the time savings is significant.

Of course, if the light conditions change, and I forget to rebalance, it's off to work again later.

I wonder if it's possible to incorporate this type of functionality in the body of the beast.

I did not know what my pictures were missing until I started using the Expodisc. Better lighting and color. very easy to use. I won't take my camera without it coming along also.
Excellent accessory and extremely easy to use. Construction is first class. Built like a tank. I leave my D70 on preset and the expodisc hanging on my neck when shooting. It takes about 10 secs to adjust the WB. I have the neutral filter and I am wanting to try the warm filter. I was going to buy a new Nikon but I am extremely satisfied now with the D70 and the neutral expodisc. Instructions are first class. Each expodisc comes with its own spec sheet. Here is 'mine':RGB color 'saturation': 'Red': 00 , 'Green': 00 , 'Blue': .01The expodisc pops on and off like the lens cap. It is worth the money!!!!!!!!

Problems 'Encountered': Zero problems

Previous Equivalent Items 'Owned': white coffee filter
